Ashlyn turned 10 yesterday!!! Can you believe it!! We sure can't! She is turning into to such a beautiful young lady and we are so very proud of her. We got to go to her school conference today and her teacher is very proud of Ashlyn and said what a good girl she is and how she is a silent leader in the class. What a great thing to be! I have though about this several times tonight and to be a silent leader, to me, would mean that she is humble enough not to outwardly try to force people into situations, but trusted enough to be a great example and lead the others to do the right thing! Ash, we love you so much!! You are a wonderful daughter, and a great big sister... well, most of the time!!
I wish I had some photos of my only "normal" sized (8 lbs 12 ounces), bald headed baby, but unfortunately those were taken before the digital era, so we'll have to settle to look at those in books.

Then next big thing... she wants to follow in Aunt Lisa's footsteps! With the birthday money she received she is going to put it towards 6 months of hip hop or modern dance lessons! We are going to do a free trial next week. Hey Lisa, wouldn't this be a GREAT reason for you guys to get back over this direction!?
