Went to my first appointment today... stones are coming out Monday!
I will have a pain staking night tonight of only liquids (wasn't even supposed to eat the soup and salad I did at lunch) before some tests tomorrow to prep for Monday!! Don't really no any more tonight than I did this morning, but Monday it will be all over with!! YEAH!! Its only been six months, whats waiting a couple more days right?!? I am thankful for my children though, they have been very concerned about my diet tonight... and thrilled, because they got to drink soda (I have to keep my blood sugars level somehow).

Changes
Reflecting back... I think Ashlyn was the exact age as Kailey when this happened to her...
For a lot of years I wondered why Mom cut off my long hair, because Ashlyn's hair was straight and very UNtangley when she was little... but now having had Kailey's long hair interfering with even the simplest outings... I TOTALLY understand!

The Bee Movie
The Bee Movie is a very cute movie that was just released onto DVD right around Easter. Gramma GG got the kids the movie for Easter and it has been thoroughly watched at this point. The main character in the movie is Barry. Why am I posting about a children's movie???? Well, Canyon found Barry... and played with him for a full day and a half!!
(I'm not exactly sure why he has started making this face EVERY time he sees the camera!!! He is holding Barry in his hand)
Granted, Barry was dead... and CJ was totally disheartened by the fact the Canyon was playing with a BEE, of all things... Canyon loved Barry - and even put him to bed in the window sill.
It wasn't until after Canyon decided he would try to "wrestle" with Barry (he threw himself around on he floor while holding Barry in his hand) that Barry got lost... on the floor... on vacuuming day. Thankfully Canyon had forgotten about Barry by the time the vacuum came out!

I WAS PREGNANT WITH ASHLYN!!! Wow! That's insane!!!
5 Things On My To Do List Today...
1) Start the laundry for the week (although it is ONE thing I tend to procrastinate so I probably won't actually be finished until Friday)
2) Make bread (I know, I know)
3) Help CJ with his to do list
4) clean the kitchen
5) Plan a FHE
If I were a Billionaire...
WOW! I honestly so seldom think about money...
I would buy a house in the mountains, and set aside money for my children's future. I would find the best Neurologist in the world for CJ, and dump a lot of money into the American Diabetes Foundation. I would buy a new car. I would set-up my food storage and emergency preparedness. I would make sure that not only my immediate family, but my extended family was debt free. I would travel like crazy with my family... making as many trip as possible to Hawaii!!
3 Bad Habits...
1)PROCRASTINATION!
2) I have become not so dependable... sorry if I've let you down!
3) I spend probably too much time on the computer
(funny... all 3 of these things have to do with procrastinating!)
5 Places I've Lived...
I don't think there are 5...
1) Spokane, WA
2) Bellevue, WA (I think it was Bellevue... it was for a very short period of time a very long time ago)
3) Sandpoint, ID
4) Spokane, WA
5) Saratoga Springs, UT
ok, so I did Spokane twice... I left and came back.
5 Jobs I've had...
1) Ernst (it was like a Home Depot)
2) Wal-Mart
3) Home Base (also like Home Depot)
4) Totem Feeds (it was a tiny distributor of animal feed)
5) TNT Fireworks
3 Things Most People Don't Know About Me...
1) I don't like to leave my house, and am actually quite shy
2)I have a new found LOVE of books!!! LOVE!!
3) I had a poem published when Ashlyn was a baby
ok... so this is a bonus I just realized as I was reading through my list of jobs...
4) I have been a manager at all 5 of the places I have worked!
I am tagging.... Anna, Allison, Alicia (now you have something to do! :), Jessica and Taraka

The Best Date EVER!
Ok, so there have only been a very limited number of dates that CJ and I have ever been on. We have been on a few WITH our children, but literally only six or seven "Mommy Daddy dates". Well, on Friday we went on the best date ever, with our good friends Anna and Boyd. The date was actually CJ's idea (he was making up for a LOT of times HE has blown these guys off), so he was in charge of planning it... rather, he put himself in charge of planning it. Knowing CJ, like we all do, we (mostly Anna and I) were a little leery of what was to come, especially since CJ kept it all a big secret (yes, just like in high school). The only limitation we women put on him was that it couldn't be cold and there had to be GOOD food involved.
We set off on our date at about 6 pm... only after CJ had asked me to print off some blue ribbons, got Boyd's walkie-talkies... and putting iron.
Ok... so maybe Boyd was a little apprehensive too.
JUUUUUUST kidding!!
Then something happened...
Boyd went Rodeo Clown on us!!! I won't say any more about that...
First, CJ took us to the golf course where we had a challenging game of Couples Golf ... (it was actually just a matter of which woman made the shot in the fewest number of strokes, then which guy made the shot in the fewest number of strokes. We each had to make it into 2 holes.)
(with that form how could we lose!)
(nice shot Ceej!)
which CJ and I won! Blue ribbon for us!!! ... Oh but not before we got our first blue ribbon in a grueling match-up of rock, paper, scissors between CJ and Boyd... which entitled us to not have to spend our gas money... Boyd drove. (I have a confession... that nobody pointed out... ever... probably because they all know I am completely inept when it comes to athletics... I cheated... the first hole I helped my ball into the hole a little)
We then headed to Smith's grocery store for a very competitive round of "each-couple-find-three-really-hard-to-find-items-which-the-other-couple-has-to-put-away". Ever played that?? Well, each couple had to find three things in the store, which are not very popular items, hand them off, and the other couple has to find where they go, getting the blue ribbon that the original couple left behind. Three more blue ribbons for us!!! Not to brag or anything... but we really rocked that night!!! SO since Anna and Boyd were shut out they had to buy dinner!! Well... actually the original plan was that CJ was going to buy dinner because we owed them. So, in an attempt to salvage our friendship (since they had to drive AND they lost every game... I know, I know, I am pretending I am the ultra-competitive wife here.. but really it was lots of fun... regardless of who won! ) CJ went ahead and bought dinner. We had LOTS of... very educational... conversations... at dinner, and CJ, Boyd and Anna caught up on some old times (they worked together in Virginia, of all places, several years ago). Anna and Boyd are the greatest... and taught us lots... even how important it is to get a nap at least once a week. Sunday's are best... I was going to try... but it just didn't work out this week. I'll have to try again.
